In that vein, its Caribbean Research Institute (CRI) will provide CSA members and global subscribers with biannual reports that will contain accurate and timely information of special interest to maritime organizations.
The institute will further the Association’s mandate as the voice of the region’s shipping industry and act as a major regional forum in which matters relevant to the growth and development of Caribbean shipping are discussed.
Utilizing the highest research standards, the methods to create databases using data science tools and systems will be defined by rigor and objectivity.
The mission of the CRI/CSA is to be the leader of maritime, port and logistics research in the Caribbean to aid the industry achieve the highest quality service for the benefit and development of the region. The vision of the CRI is to become the main point of reference of knowledge and research regarding the maritime, ports and logistics industries in the Caribbean for the rest of the world.
Our extensive knowledge and unequalled experience in the region allow us to provide best-in-class research and consulting services for and about this unique region.
The CRI works in leveraging the participation in regional institutions for exposure and promotion; strengthen links with industry and academic institutions in Asia, Europe, North America and Latin America; be actively involved in an international network of knowledge generation centers; and to create a collaborative environment for existing research / analysis efforts.
The CRI will also offer consultancy services to CSA and non-CSA members and occasional complimentary publications for members. Additionally, entities can benefit from the development of IT solutions, marketing analysis forecast and database management.
